Role Overview: The IT Manager will be responsible for leading the development of the IT strategy and roadmap and ensure its integration with the organisation’s strategic planning process, and the resulting business objectives and plans, while managing the entire IT function and be accountable for engaging and on-boarding the respective business teams on the IT roadmap. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop a data and technical architecture 'blueprint' for the organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the organisation, and maintain relationships with business leaders to develop a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Oversee management of the organization’s networks, hardware & software, security and web based applications, while ensuring exceptional support is delivered to the users.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, processes and controls; monitor policies within scope of responsibility to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure proper functioning of organization’s IT systems, services, and resources.
  • Oversee performance of system maintenance updates/upgrades when necessary.
  • Implement security and data access policies.
  • Oversee protection of data via scheduled backups and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Review and ensure IT licenses compliance.
  • Implement and manage complex and critical systems to support the business.
  • Initiate and execute IT department plans and projects (new installation, removal, and modification of IT systems, services and resources) while performing a cost-benefit analysis.
  • Establish IT culture and security awareness within the organization.
  • Provide creative and innovative ideas to top management.
  • Maintain high-level and detailed knowledge including industry best practices, evolving technologies and security threats.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • At least 10 years of working experience in a related position within IT.
  • Progressive experience in complex organisations acting as a Chief Technology Officer/IT Senior Manager in a medium-sized to large professional services organisation.
  • Ability to engage non-technical people and develop a technology agenda.
  • Experience in Loan Management servicing platforms and solutions.
  • University degree Management Information Systems or in a related field.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written, and highly effective communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills.
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and solutions.
  • Support and service orientation.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to develop high performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen and strategically-minded, but hands-on in approach.
