Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the product development of the Building Materials Division.
  • Implementation of the Division's annual strategic plan.
  • Organize, plan, coordinate and control all Departments' activities to achieve their goals.
  • The specific Division under his/her responsibility - offering support to all 3 Branches.
  • Visits to foreign exhibitions and suppliers.
  • Sales promotion (visits to customers including visits to construction sites, communication with customers, sale of products).
  • Preparation and monitoring of tenders.
  • Offer customer service in-store or at site.
  • Responsible for customer credit management.
  • Check inventory and prepare orders (purchase and cost control).
  • Preparation of specifications and plans for specifiers for small and large projects of each category.
  • Preparation of advertising plans and showroom exhibits.
  • Responsible for any changes on the Company’s website for the Building Materials Department.
  • Cross Selling and support to the Sanitary Ware Division.
  • Organization of seminars in cooperation with suppliers, end-seminars and seminars to clients and partners.
  • Training of technicians/installers.
  • Product coding.
  • Enriching product range, finding new suppliers and services.
  • Preparation of pricing policy.
  • Creation of price lists.
  • Participation in local exhibitions.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering , or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years previous working experience in a similar position (e.g. Team Leader).
  • Experience in managing people and teams.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic personality willing to work and assist with any type of responsibility provided.
  • Must portray a positive attitude and willing to assist in any type of work.
  • Be able to multitask, work efficiently, work to close deadlines and handle challenging situations.
  • Effective sales and negotiation skills is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English, both in written and spoken language.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
